Spokane is known for being the home of many prominent people who have contributed to the greater good of the community. Many are also quite famous, which has brought recognition to the great city. While no one famous person comes to mind when people think of Spokane, there are several well-known faces that are proudly representing the great city.

1. Sydney Sweeney

Sydney Sweeney is an up-and-coming actress who has played some minor roles in popular movies. She is known for her roles in the teenage drama series. This Is Us (2016) and in the horror movie The Outpost (2018). She is also known for her acting roles in The Blackcoat’s Daughter (2017) and the 2018 remake of Overboard. Sydney loves nature and spends time outdoors or surfing.

2. Matty Mullins

Matty Mullins is a male singer who has made it big in the metal and hardcore genre. He is known as the lead vocalist for American rock bands Memphis May Fire and The Plot in You. Growing up in Spokane, Matty received his start in the music business when he joined a local hardcore band called Down to Nothing. In 2012, Matty joined Memphis May Fire. Since then, he has starred in several music videos.

Debbie Rowe is a well-known face on television and on the big screen. 5. John Stockton

John Stockton was a professional basketball player who played for the National Basketball Association’s Utah Jazz. The 52nd draft pick by the Jazz in 1984, John played his entire 19-year, 10-month NBA career with Utah. His career was among the best in the world, and he retired as the NBA’s all-time leader in assists and steals. He holds several NBA records, including the most consecutive games with at least ten assists. After retirement, he became a color commentator for NBA games.
